Episode 2 of the Television Zombies podcast is now available! This week, Tina and I are joined by our friend Jake to discuss new fall shows like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Pushing Daisies and Moonlight, as well as other big television announcements from Comicon. We also take a look back at series 3 of Doctor Who and speculate on the big changes rumored for series 4.

Show Notes:
1. The website that I mention for the mysterious J.J. Abrams show has vanished. You can read more about this project, codenamed “Cloverfield,” here.
2. You can check out Kevin Smith’s Smodcast at his website.
Please note: new episodes of the series will now be available in our RSS feed on Tuesdays.

After over a year, we’ve produced not one, but two new podcasts. First up is the final episode of the “Restaurant Fuel/I Like Seamonsters” podcast, which you can get here:
RFSM 202: “Television Zombies”
In addition, we’ve released the pilot episode of our new ongoing podcast, Television Zombies. As the name may suggest, we will be talking about our favorite television shows. You can get it here:
Television Zombies Episode 1: “Lost in Twin Peaks”

Well, that new podcast I mentioned last week is now one step closer. Today, I ordered about $200 in audio recording gear.
Yes, we’re serious. More later.

There has been a slight delay in getting the podcast out. It has now been recorded, but is waiting for editing. We should have it up sometime this week.

After a delay of several months, Tina and I are planning on recording the next edition of our podcast this upcoming Saturday. Expect for it to go online sometime Sunday. After that, expect a more regular release schedule.
Sorry it’s taken so long. Twins are not conducive to being very productive.

Tina and I haven’t stopped podcasting, although several weeks have passed since our last show. We recorded a program last week, but we both agreed that it was not up to par with our past efforts. There will be more in the future, we just want to make sure we produce good material and not just post a show for the sake of it.
In other podcast-related news, I’d like to note that episode 106 was downloaded 755 times this month. This is much, much bigger than our last show, which only received 150 downloads in June. I’m wracking my brain trying to figure out why 106 has been so popular — if anyone out there has an explanation, please let us know in the comments.
