Bored Now
Was it just me, or was last night’s debate utterly boring? Seriously, I fell asleep and didn’t wake up until the equally bored talking heads were blah blah blahing about the proceedings.
I know I’m not alone in my complete and utter fatigue regarding the presidential race. November 4 can’t come fast enough.
A friend of mine asked me what we would talk about after the race is over. To be honest, I couldn’t think of an answer.
What a crazy year it’s been.

I actually found it pretty interesting. McCain seemed bitter and old but Obama was giving answers the way I think.

Here’s something about the election we agree 100% on.
I am SO sick of the election. It feels like it’s been going on for even longer than the nearly two years that it has actually been going on.
I absolutely believe that the endless election cycle is incredibly harmful, too. First, it takes something fundamental to our society and makes it tedious and depressing.
And second, it tears down all the candidates and makes us thoroughly sick of them. After a certain point in the campaign, a candidate can’t score any more positive points – everything that’s appealing about them is known (that’s what got them nominated/up to 50% in the polls). So all that’s left to learn about (or have made up about them) is negatives.
